This is our most common service model. Whether you're creating a prototype or need an engineering change to an existing project, we'll injest any specifications, propose a roadmap, and pair your with the right engineers for the job. The project and deliverables are managed by us, and at handoff you will have all the necessary files to fabricate boards or support future revisions.
ELESIGHT offers the research & development service model for customers looking to innovate and take new approaches to product design. We can assist with feasibility studies, testing, price estimation, and extended development of new and cutting-edge ideas.
This service model is meant for companies looking to complement their current engineering workflows with extra resources. The main advantage of this service model is that partnering with ELESIGHT provides an avenue for quickly scaling your work force, controlling the cost of development, and reducing development time by allowing us to adopt internal standards, work more closely with your employees, and offer our full range of services in a single package.
Consultation through ELESIGHT involves everything from helping you plan your next electronic design to helping you choose the right tool for the job. If this is your first time working with ELESIGHT, consultation can help you get an understanding how our workflows can integrate with your company, and we believe that providing the best consultation with the most modern approaches can lead to long-term partnerships and cooperation.
Every electronic design is unique in nature, and requires a unique approach. Every project we undertake has a clear roadmap to set expectations and offers a high level of transparency, allowing for better long-term planning, better cost estimation, and an easy to manage project.
Allegro offers an industry-leading PCB design solution and is therefore our choice for the most complex PCB designs. Customers who already leverage the highly configurable Allegro environment can easily share their configurations and ensure a standard design approach. Tight integration with pre, post, and in-design simulation tools enable us to offer the highest quality of digital verification.
More InfoAs a more user-friendly and approachable version of Allegro, OrCAD’s new library authoring and PCB layout interface offer great options for growing teams, with an easy upgrade path to Allegro for more complex designs. We leverage OrCAD’s PSpice integration for designs where electrical simulation and analog circuitry is critical to a design’s success.
More InfoEagle’s tight integration into Autodesk Fusion allows for an unrivaled ECAD to MCAD collaboration flow. We use Eagle with customers who wish to be an active part of the PCB design process from the mechanical point of view, like enclosure design or testing for harsh environments.
More InfoOur engineering staff come from a rich background of EDA tools. If you don’t see your preferred tool on this list, let us know and we’ll see if one of our experts can provide the services you’re looking for, or we can refer you to one of our partners.
Altium’s cloud integration and ease of use make for a great collaborative PCB environment. For customers already using Altium 365, or those who have little EDA experience but are looking to easily track the status of their PCB design, Altium provides great tools for us to collaborate with you through the web.
More InfoAs an open-source tool, KiCAD’s accessibility is a great way to get started with PCB design, not to mention it’s free! We leverage KiCAD’s pre-installed libraries and cost to offer better pricing for hobbyists and students without the resources of a professional-grade EDA tool.
More InfoEasyEDA in-browser experience and integration with prototyping services makes it a great option for beginners. We support EasyEDA primarily for designs built in the tool. The turnkey solutions enabled by EasyEDA are ideal for those looking to purchase assemblies in the future with little electronic experience.
More InfoOur hours & materials payment structure is the most flexible for all designs. By agreeing on a “do not exceed” number of hours, we submit weekly timesheets along with status reports to make sure we are keeping up with the expected pace of development. Additional hours can be quoted separately, but the cost is easy to break down and analyze by time spent on schematic design, layout, analysis, etc. Any materials purchased on behalf of the customer to support development will also be added to the final invoice.
Our fixed-price payment model is best employed for projects with a very clear scope and deliverables, or for projects with a fixed budget. The customer can either share their budget and we’ll propose what can be achieved under that cost, or we can propose a fixed cost for a specific project outcome. Anything outside of the scope of the fixed-price agreement can either be requoted or taken on as a separate project.
